During the previous year, a lot has happened with StreamBIM.

We have released a hoge amount of new features, as well as improving most of the existing functionality. This is to improve your experience and to prepare us for future functionality.

We also managed to turn 10 years old, organize StreamBIM day in both Oslo and Stockholm, and participated in several conferences in Norway and abroad.

In 2020, we signed a contract with the Japanese contractor giant Takenaka to deliver StreamBIM as a collaboration platform for a trial period. During the trial period, the software has been used to an increasingly large extent.

Until now, Takenaka has managed to translate, implement and adopt StreamBIM widely in Japan without Rendra being physically present, beyond a few short visits. With the increase in volume of the deliveries we now know the contours of and the fact that the test projects have confirmed StreamBIM's properties and ability to scale up, we have now opened our Tokyo office.

On December 1st, we organized the Swedish version of the StreamBIM day, a half-day seminar with insanely interesting speakers and audience! This year's theme was "Data-centric and user-friendly BIM", the same as in Oslo earlier this autumn. The seminar was fully booked before we launced it to the public. This prooves it is a massive interest for smart ways of working in Sweden, so we promise to host a second seminar with bigger facilities!

On Wednesday 31.08.2022 we had a conference with the theme "User-friendly and data-centric BIM", which in many ways marks a crossroads for us in terms of where we are and should be developed further. Rupert Hanna and Ole Kristian Kvarsvik shared new functionality developed over the past year that includes: Pointcloud support, TAKT (Time planning), Quantity extraction, 2D-tags and what is under development in our roadmap.
